Roll back your site to a previous version
Every time you publish your site, Wibigo saves that version. If you're unhappy with a change, don't panic: you can preview an old version and roll it back to your published site with a single click.
Open version history
- In the Control Panel, go to the Websites tab.
- Open Advanced settings and click Version history.
On the left side of the page, your published versions are listed from newest to oldest. The version currently published has a Published badge.
Preview a version
When you click a version in the list on the left, a preview of that version appears on the right—exactly as your visitors would see it, with all text and images.
- If your site has multiple pages, you can navigate between pages by clicking page names above the preview.
- Use Open fullscreen to view the version in a larger format in a separate tab.
Roll back to a version
- Select the version you want to restore and review its content in the preview.
- Click Roll back to this version.
- In the confirmation dialog, select Yes, publish.
The rollback completes instantly: your visitors will immediately see your site at that version. You don't need to republish.
Your editor work is not affected. Rolling back only affects your published site; your draft in the editor remains untouched. When you're ready to return to your latest version, just click Publish Your Site from the editor.
Your history is never deleted
When you roll back to a version, the old versions don't disappear. The rollback itself is added to the list as a new version with a label like Restored from v1. This way, you can always track which version you restored from.
Frequently asked questions
How many versions are kept? Your 20 most recent published versions are saved for each site. As you create new versions, the oldest one is removed.
I don't see any versions in the list. Versions are created when you publish. If you haven't published your site yet, you'll see No versions yet—publish your site first.
Will my domain name revert too? No. Rolling back only affects your site content; your site continues to be published at its current domain name.
